Play date #2 - qwerty

Yesterday, I had a date with sweetmre from qwerty and JT and mo.par from lalaland. The only thing is, we never made it to lalaland or to 90210. We were all too busy in qwerty, planting flowers and visiting neighbours. Hopefully we can play again. I want to see lalaland and all her flowers AND I want you guys to come swimming over in 90210.

mo.par came by after to fix up sweetmre's flowers. She's the gardening expert. She is also a bit more tanned than sweetmre but not as dark as Leesh.

Play date #1 - Bollywud

Teffy from Bollywud is a new friend of mine. We started off the night by roaming around Bollywud. We went to each neighbour's house. I think this is the most pictures I have ever taken. It's easier to pose and snap a shot when you are playing DS to DS. After Teffy and Leesh went back to 90210 to visit Leesh's neighbours and see her brand new manison.

so Leesh will save any that she gets her hands on.

Benedict says MOVE B1TCH. How sneaky by using a "1" instead of an "I"! Teffy doesn't like Benedict.
He's a dirty chicken. Just look at his gross floor. Teffy taught me that you can tell the gender of a neighbour by the colour of the bubble their name is in.

I can't remember whose house this is but they have the same shirt as Leesh.

Frobert looks like he has some sort of disease. Or a big zit on his face.

Everyone loves Goldie and Goldie seems to love everyone. She greeted Leesh with a big kiss.

While Goldie and Teffy kissed, Leesh decided to take a nap.

Now over to 90210. This is Leesh's new ranch room with ivy wallpaper. Teffy and Leesh had a serious conversation.

Teffy bum rushed Leesh as they walked out of Leesh's classic room into the main room. Kinda freaky!

It's been a long day visitng so Leesh and Teffy decided to take a nap in the exotic room next to the gas pump. Luckily no one was lit on fire.

Teffy had enough bells to get a haircut at Shampoodle. Harriet gave her this lovely cut. Not quite sure if Teffy likes it.

Teffy and Leesh went to visit the newest neighbour of 90210, Tank. He was too busy unpacking so we took a new photo since Teffy is more comfortable with her new 'do.

Last visit of the day was with Daisy. We were scared by this wicked noise she made.

It was a nice visit to both Bollywud and 90210. We hope to play again soon. Teffy is going to try and set up her wifi so we can play any time. Until next time...

AC:WW play date #1 and #2

I have to play dates (as I like to call them) tomorrow evening and Saturday afternoon. This should be fun. Lately, I have been able to play through wifi with some ladies that I met but these upcoming play dates are with friends of mine.

Play date #1 is with SI (Bollywud) - she originally started playing AC:CF and told me all about it but I tried it out on DS instead. Now I have converted her to playing AC:WW . I can't wait to see her town and how she is doing with the switch.

Play date #2 is with MP (lalaland) and MB (qwerty) - I played with these girls back in April. We have not played together since and I am looking forward to seeing how big their houses are and how their town has developed.

15 minutes of play time

Today, at our scheduled time, I went to Mitsukyo to meet up with Yuki and Meow. I really enjoy playing with these ladies but unfortunately, I was only able to play with them for 15 minutes this afternoon. After when it was time for me to leave Yuki's town, I got lost and couldn't find my way out and then I forgot that I had to talk to Cooper to exit. I was quite embarrassed and couldn't stop laughing at myself. I guess I was in a rush to meet my friend downstairs, I even forgot to turn off my DS, luckily, I had it plugged into the charger. I look forward to our next play date and hopefully I can stay longer than 15 minutes.

New Game: Sally's Salon

Finally, a post about something else other than Animal Crossing. I have been playing Sally's Salon on my iPhone and decided to try out the Nintendo DS game. I can't believe that I am going to say this but after 8 months of playing AC:WW, I need a break.

I like these routine games - Diner Dash, Cake Mania, etc. I knew that Sally's Salon would be to my liking and it will only be a matter of days before I finish this game and will move on to the next new game. Don't get me wrong, I am not going to stop AC:WW, I just wanted something new to play for a change. I have two AC dates - this coming Sunday with Yuki/Meow and then one on Thursday with two girls who are new to AC.

Short visit to Funky

I think it was on Monday or Sunday night I decided to visit Funky. Everytime I go through the gate, I wait to see if Meow greets me, if she doesn't say anything, I search the town for her. When I entered the gate, I saw all these fossils. I didn't know if they were decoration or for the taking. I just kept on walking...

I finally found Meow in Tangy's house. She was just sitting quietly on a fruit chair. To me, Leesh is tanned. I stood by Meow and Leesh is no where as dark. Leesh will just have to sit out in the sun longer and stop wearing SPF. Only a few more weeks left to tan.

Turnips

This is the first time that I'm posting from my iPhone. It's very difficult.

Today I checked the turnip prices from Nook. Yesterday it was 57 bells, this morning it was 138 and in the afternoon it was 145. I traded 20 turnips at 138 and 10 at 145. Oh what fun!! The best part was I sold my red turnip to Nook and he gave me 16,000 bells!

I am going to buy turnips from Joan this Sunday. Who knew turnip trading would be so entertaining?
