Happening in 90210

Here is what's been going on in 90210...

Saturday night, right after the Fireworks show, Brody saw something moving behind the trees. She grabbed her net and quickly swung at it. YAY, finally a scorpion.


While Leesh opened the gates for visitors, all these new insects were floating around. A birdwing butterfly and this emperor butterfly. So pretty. Leesh is learning and is donating rather than selling.


New area in 90210. Leesh, Ross and Brody are starting to get duplicate of bootleg music from K.K. Slider. If you stop by to visit, feel free to take whatever songs are in this area.

More visitors to 90210

Yuki was kind enough to schedule a visit this evening, well evening for her, afternoon for me and that would mean morning for Meow. She is so kind as I can't play on Yuki's scheduled time of Tuesday at 8 pm. I really appreciate that Yuki makes time to play with Leesh!!!

Only a couple minutes after Leesh stepped foot in Mitsukyo, guess what happens???

After a second attempt, here is Yuki, Leesh and Pirate Meow.
I didn't get the memo that I was suppose to wear black, white and red.

Leesh asked how Yuki got all her clovers in a line, she explained that the clovers were four leaf clovers.
Leesh thought they were weeds. Yuki told Leesh to pick one up and of course, Leesh was scared.
Yuki finally convinced her and now Leesh has a nice clover in her hair. Thanks Yuki!

Leesh was excited. Now that she finally realized and understood what the Touch Event is all about, Yuki took her to all the carpet areas. I wonder what Meow was doing?

Leesh heard that Kody now lives in Mitsukyo. I guess Kody did sort of remember Leesh.

Leesh got to meet the famous Vesta. She's cute and loves to scream!

Yuki and Meow came over to 90210. This is Yuki's first visit.
Meow was excited that she was going to get to see Roscoe. She loves him!

Leesh walked in on Meow and Roscoe kissing.
Now your secret love affair is out in the open. You can't hide it anymore.

But again, wifi crashes. Luckily, Leesh saved...Sorry Meow and Yuki, it took me a while to open the gates again. I probably took too long. Until next time, I hope to see you ladies soon. Meow - I will try my best to make sure Roscoe doesn't move away and thanks for the painting!

Gold roses

OH MY - Friday morning, Leesh wakes up and finds two gold roses by the gates. They must be from Meow. Thank you so much Meow. I have been trying to grow black roses forever and now I can enjoy the gold roses until a black rose finally appears.

Ross caught a Arapaima. Don't worry guys, he donated it and
then caught another one after, which he sold to Nook.

The house has a new expansion, the right wing of the house.
It's decorated with classic furniture, rug and wallpaper.

Meow stops by 90210

It's always fun to visit other towns. Luckily on Thursday night, Funky's gates were open.

Leesh went to visit Meow in Funky and was greeted at the gate with presents all around.
Meow asked Leesh to choose a present. She got a cabana vanity.

Leesh asked Meow if she wanted to see 90210 but warned her that it's really messy because there are flowers everywhere.

Meow and Leesh went for a dip in my pool. Look how dark she is!
I can't get over how much she tans (really, I am just jealous!)

Meow wanted to see inside my house. She was amazed at my huge fish tank.

While Meow checked out the rest of the rooms in the house, Leesh decided to take a nap.

Meow told me she also likes Exotic furniture.

Now that I am going to be having visitors to 90210 more frequently, Leesh is going to clean up her town and make it look all pretty. It will take a lot of work but it will be worth it. I want to impress others when they come to visit. But first...Leesh must TAN!

Quick visits to Funky and Dogpatch

I'm still a bit nervous to visit other towns. I am even more shy to explore towns when the character is nowhere to be found. I feel like I am invading someone's personal space. I'll get the hang of it eventually. Tonight, I decided to see if I could visit some towns, Funky and Dogpatch had their gates open.

I found Meow sleeping in the middle of the field. She's so tanned!
I only got to walk around for a bit because wifi crashed.

Dogpatch had the gates open. I thought I would pop in eventhough I only met Thelma earlier this week.
What a nice welcome sign!

I finally found Thelma. See her in the left side of the room, sitting on the couch sleeping?

The upstairs room is my favorite room in Thelma's house. I love how it looks like a casino!

Leesh decided to fish to kill some time. To her surprise she caught a blue marlin.
Should she sell it to Nook or donate it to the museum?
I know what Yuki would say...DONATE! Leesh will do it tomorrow morning.

With the blue marlin in Leesh's pocket, she didn't want to risk a wifi crash so she packed up, mailed a letter and went back to 90210. Thanks Meow and Thelma for leaving your gates open. Too bad you guys were not awake when I came to visit. Until next time...

First visit to Funky

After meeting Meow for the first time last week, Leesh decided to check if the gates to Funky were open. To her surprise, they were but no one was to be found. Although, she was very shy and nervous to be creeping up in someone's town, Leesh continued to walk around and explore Funky.

In Meow's house. I tried to look for her and even called out her name. No response.
I hope she doesn't mind that I give myself a tour of her house.

She is so tanned, I am jealous!

Meow's favorite neighbour, Kiki.
We chatted for a bit until we hear that Thelma has arrived in Funky.
Kiki was kinda enough to send me a letter the next day.

Meow and Thelma had some catching up to do, so Leesh decided to fish and caught a arowana.
Cool! The museum back in 90210 doesn't have one so she donated it.

Leesh finally got to meet Thelma (she's very nice) in front of Nook's.
Thelma has the same hairstyle as Leesh and we are both pasty unlike Meow.

Meow - thank you for letting me visit and wander around Funky. Your town is so polished and beautiful for only playing for 6 months. I hope to come visit again soon!

Thelma - it was a pleasure meeting you. Hopefully I will get to visit your town one day and maybe meet the rest of your group.

I'm surprised that playing with people on wifi could be so fun. I am still pretty nervous about playing and meeting new people but I am sure in time, I will be more comfortable. All the people that I have met so far have been really nice and I love visiting different towns because you get to see their creative side. I have come to realize that my town, 90210 needs a facelift!

Fireworks on Saturdays for August

Finally, it's Saturday night. Ross went to the Roost to see K.K. Slider and give him a country guitar. In return, K.K. Slider gave Ross a picture of himself. This ends the red turnip trade.

While Ross was there, K.K. Slider hooked him up with a bootleg of K.K. Tango

Every Saturday in the month of August, Tortimer puts on a fireworks show for the town from 7 pm to midnight.

Looks like Saturday nights are going to be quite entertaining for the rest of the month. I wonder if you can save all the sparklers and roman candles Tortimer gives out and light them throughout the year?
