Green Feather from Boondox

I forgot that I wanted to post about this...

A few weeks, Brody had lots of bells and decided to donate 10,000 bells to Boondox, she felt like being nice and helping out those less fortunate than her. The next day, she got a green feather. Cool!

Tanning

Leesh has been tanning all afternoon. I found out that if you are outside between 10 am and 4 pm, your character becomes tanned. So like in real life, Leesh is sitting by the pool, worshipping the sun! I hope she bakes and gets really DARK!

Check out My ACWW Photo Diary, there are more pictures of me visiting Yuki and meeting Meow. I have to admit that I have been following this blog/website for a few months now and was always jealous of people playing over wifi and getting to visit other towns. I am glad I broke the seal (hahaha) and now I want to play over wifi whenever I can. I love seeing how other people have set up their town and also how they decorate their house.

Yuki and Meow - thank you for showing me that there is more to Animal Crossing than just playing by yourself.

A whole new world

For the past several months since I have started to play Animal Crossing, I have played on my own. There have been times when I have played DS to DS with mo.par, sweetmre, calibray and stfne. I have played wifi with mo.par a couple of time but now that she doesn't have wifi, we don't play. Today though, I played wifi with Yuki from Mitsukyo (Germany) and Meow from Funky (California). What an experience...It's so different to play with people you don't know and it involves plenty of typing. I look forward to many more wifi visits, I just hope the time difference doesn't matter too much. Thanks Yuki for letting me visit Mitsukyo - you have such a pretty town and I love how the sidewalk even have directional signs to the town hall, museum, etc...

Interesting, Yuki's house is full of turnips. She's very into the turnip trade.

Before Leesh left, she wanted to buy a new outfit. She bought Yuki's sexy dress design. Turns out Meow and Yuki had the same dress too. Three sexy ladies ready for a night out on the town.

It's back...

I found a pink cosmo. I think I for sure ran over or forgot to water the first one that bloomed. This time, I have put the pink cosmo in my garden of hybrids so it will be kept safe.

Black Cosmos

My wish has come true. I finally have a black cosmo. I just wish that I didn't lose the one pink cosmo I had. I may need to do some replanting. I also found another orange cosmo. I love finding new hybrids!!!!

Golden Axe Trading Event

After growing two red turnips and waiting until Wendell's to 90210, the Golden Axe Trading event has begun!!! Leesh ran into Wendell first and got a turban.



After I switched to Ross so he could give Wendell another red turnip to eat. Wendell gave Ross a country guitar. Now, Leesh has to wait until Saharah comes to 90210 and Ross can give K.K. Slider the country guitar this Saturday. Wish me luck in this trading event. Leesh's trade is going to take forever since there are more steps after seeing Saharah. Ross' trade will finish once he sees K.K. Slider.

Fourth expansion

About a week ago, Leesh's home got a fourth expansion to the house. It's a left wing room and the mortgage is now 728,000 bells. I thought that I would share what each room looks like.

Here is the main room on the first floor. It's got modern tile and wallpaper and most of the modern furniture. In the middle of the room is an ocean sunfish.



The second floor room has exotic carpet and wallpaper and some exotic furniture. There is a fishing trophy that Leesh won and a jack-in-the-box.


The recent upgrade is the left wing off of the main floor. It has sandlot on the floor and seaview on the wall (received from Pascal). Right now I am working on getting all the beach furniture items and I plan to keep one of each of the hybrids in this room.

Hammerhead shark

After almost one and a half months of trying to catch a hammerhead shark, Leesh finally caught one yesterday. Every time Ross or Leesh tried to catch a fish in the water with a fin, it always ends up being a ocean sunfish. I have to admit I was jealous when sweetmre and mo.par both caught the shark in the beginning of June. I constantly tried and tried and had no luck UNTIL I found a lucky cat...I do believe that this lucky cat will give you luck when fishing. Thanks for the tip Maureen.

So my dilemma - do I donate the shark to the museum or sell it to Nook for 8000 bells?

Congrats Blushing

I have just heard that Blushing has blue pansies and black roses (and a bunch of other hybrids). Stfne also mentioned that she has Jacob's Ladders. I told her that you get Jacob's Ladders when your town is PERFECT!!! She was excited.

So, congrats Stephanie on your perfect town and your expertise in growing hybrids. Now with Calibray not around, you can concentrate on making your town "BLUSH".

Pink Cosmos

Finally, another cosmo. A week or two ago, an orange cosmo bloomed. I have most of the hybrids but am having trouble growing cosmos. Today, with great surprise, a pink cosmo has blossomed. I am on my way to having almost all the hybrids.

UPDATE 07/16/09: I think I either ran over the pink cosmos or pulled it out of the ground by accident. It's no where to be found.
