Pattern making is so much fun

Today I caught a frog in the pond. I know it's not a big deal but when you catch something new, it's quite exciting. Too bad the frog isn't worth that much.

*leesh with the frog she caught*

After viewing some other AC:WW blog diaries, I decided to fix up my town. Unfortunately, in the process of building a pool by the house, I think leesh may have dug up her one and only orange cosmo. To protect the other single hybrids, I have built a flower bed. Stay tuned for a photo. Well, AC friends - the pool is now open for the summer. Let me know if you want to come by for a dip.

*the new pool, plenty of room for many friends to hang out*

Pattern making is fun but very time consuming and detailed. I can't design my own patterns, so I have found some on the net. Here's the pattern for water (Photo courtesy of Mayu's ACWW photo diary). I already followed a pattern to make the stones for my flower bed and next, I will be following a pattern to make a rainbow bkini.

So much more you can do

Check out the blog I have listed on the right hand side under "My Blog List". It's crazy the amount of things you can do. I have so much more to learn. I read some of the blogger's posts and I saw an ocean fish and a blue marlin. I saw that they created a pool with patterns. There is even a photo of blocked off flowerbeds. WOW! I didn't know that you could do all of this. It makes me love and appreciate the game even more. There's a lot to look forward to.

Please check out the blog, there are a lot of photos in it. It makes my blog SUCK!

Another Hybrid

Today I discovered that I had another new hybrid, an orange pansy but mo.par did give me one of these hybrids the last time she came over to visit. She is an expert at cross-breeding flowers. I think I might ask her to be a guest blogger and tell us her tips on how to grow a hybrid. Cross-breeding is all the rage in the Animal Crossing world.

Strippers in lalaland

When leesh went to visit mo.par in lalaland, it turned out that they were both dressed like strippers, LOL. Take a look...

mo.par's house is huge. She has her main room, then a room to the left and another room upstairs. The best part about the upstairs room is the toilet.

Not a purple tulip but a BLACK tulip

After a visit from mo.par, it turns out that my first hybrid wasn't a purple tulip but a black tulip (cross-bred from either two red tulips or two yellow tulips). mo.par also suggested that I move all my hybrids close to my house so I can keep a watchful eye on them.

I found my third hybrid, a purple pansy.

My Second Hybrid

You'll probably get sick of hearing everytime I grow a hybrid flower but I am proud of my accomplishment so I will continue to blog about it. This morning, I discovered an orange cosmo. Hybrid flowers grow randomly and when they feel like it. I would suggest to plant many combinations in open spaces (make sure that the nine square spaces surrounding your two flowers are free) and make sure to water them every day. Also, don't run over them.

My First Hybrid

After the help of mo.par and JT, I have a purple tulip. They showed me where and how to plant the flowers so you have a chance that they will cross breed. There is no ryhme or reason in how to grow these hybrids. The only thing you can do to is to plant the same type of flower either beside or diagonal from one another and make sure you do this in an empty space. You don't want any trees or rocks in the way. Also, water your flowers every day and hope that one day a hybrid will grow. Good luck my friends. For more info: http://faqs.ign.com/articles/805/805694p1.html
